ZipX Zero is a windproof and vertically built-in screen.
The fabric with welded zipper, runs via plastic rails with pieces of strong and tensioned rubber that catch the wind.
This makes the screen windproof in all positions and also insect-proof when the fabric is folded down. The screen allows you to maintain the view while stopping the blinding sunlight and over heating from the sun.
ZipXZero has been specially developed for use in passive low-energy houses.

Simulations show that installations of our ZipX®Zero system enable the lowest characteristic energy consumption of all solutions on the market to be achieved. This is because with our system you can enjoy the perfect indoor climate all year round without the need for expensive technologies.
• Are there any alternatives?
You can choose to reduce the g-value (the ratio between incoming solar radiation and transmitted
solar radiation) of your glass. This is a permanent decision and you would no longer wait to enjoy the sun peeking out in winter. Screens are therefore a less radical and more beneficial choice.
