Dry mortar and bricks with built-in carbon sink

In a unique initiative, Finja Betong has developed products that counteract increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by storing a carbon sink, in the form of biochar, in the products. The carbon sink is active throughout the product's lifetime, at least 100 years.

The biochar-based building products consist of Murblock Bas ECO, Mur- & Putsbruk B ECO and Putsbruk C ECO. They have a minimal climate impact and are part of Finja Betong's ECO line.
